Tomo Ricov
He came into this world when it was under the complete control of the Beatles (The world no.1 at the time of his birth was the single Day Triper/We can work it out). He caught the rock'n'roll bug in the hospital and has since then not been able to shake the disease that marked his existence.
Furthermore, he spread the disease to others while spinning records in Kulušić, Aquarius, Gjuro, Saloon, Best, Tvornica... He is the founder of the rockabilly movement; thanks to the Blue Moon program in Kulušić disco, he started the flood of specific hairstyle called "Kokotica", and pony tails. He brought funk back to Zagreb with the Tom Tom Club and caused a mass disco fever in Croatia with Studio 54. He bored people with his obscure rock'n'roll, soul, funk and jazz favorites as radio manager and speaker on radios Stojedan, Radio 1, CIBONA... He has unknowingly been involved in events since mid-eighties, when he organized theme-parties with his friend, scenographer Antas, who has remained his no.1 coworker in event planning. He also found the time to graduate from the Faculty of Law.
He came to the small and promising agency Digitel by accident (after working as a DJ on the Christmas party) at the beginning of 1998. He did all sorts of things in Digitel (he was the head of legal division!!!, account, event manager, copywriter…) until the founding of Yes! in 2002 and 2010 when Peppermint was founded. He was awarded an international prize as copywriter (No milk today, Heineken).
His hobbies don't include soccer and cars, he doesn't play cards.
